What is the gender and ages of the participants?

Re:generation for Students is designed for high schoolers in grades 9–12. Groups are divided by gender, so you’ll be with other guys or girls your age.

What's the length of the class?

The program runs for 12 weeks, meeting once a week. It’s a steady pace that allows you to grow and heal over time in a safe and supportive community.

Who is allowed to lead this program?

Re:generation for Students is led by trusted, trained adults who care about helping students grow in their faith and navigate life’s challenges. The program is led by a committed team who have completed re:generation or spent time serving with Students. Watermark requires all potential leaders who have expressed interest in working with students to complete the following steps before placement as a Step Group leader: Step One: Screening Process Leaders are required to complete an online application (with references) followed by a face-to-face interview. A leader must be an active member of Watermark before being eligible to serve in positions providing access to students. Step Two: Criminal Background Check Watermark requires that all leaders wishing to serve in re:generation for students undergo a criminal background check. Step Three: Policies & Procedures Leaders are required to review our safety policies and procedures and sign a statement of acknowledgement and agreement indicating that he or she has read and understood the material and agrees to comply with policy requirements.

Will I meet other students my age?

Absolutely! You’ll be in a group with other students in your age range who are walking through similar experiences. It’s a great way to connect and grow alongside people who truly get it.

How can parents or other trusted adults be involved?

Parents and trusted adults play an important role. They can stay informed about the program and provide encouragement and accountability as you move through the process.
